Delete your account
You can delete your Mac’s Sports Playground account and its data at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. You do not need to install the app to make the request.
Option 1 — in the app
- Open Mac’s Sports Playground and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm by typing your username.
Your account is then scheduled for deletion in 30 days. Nothing is removed during that time, and you can cancel by signing in and choosing Cancel deletion. After 30 days the deletion runs and cannot be reversed.
Option 2 — by email
Email privacy@mindofmart.com from the email address on your account, and include your username.
We use the sending address to confirm the request is really yours. If you email from a different address we will have to ask you to verify ownership before we can act, because otherwise anyone could delete someone else’s account.
We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, and in most cases within a few days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, settings and preferences
- Your lockers, picks, bets and backtests
- Your friends, friend requests and direct messages
- Your notifications, coin balance and owned items
- Your uploaded images — profile picture, locker pictures, and any slips you scanned
- Your sign-in credentials. You will not be able to log in again.
What is kept, and why
Purchase and subscription records. These are retained for tax and accounting, as described in our Privacy Policy. They are stripped of anything identifying you — your account id is replaced with a one-way token that cannot be turned back into you or your email address.
Comments you left on other people’s lockers remain in place as “[deleted]” so that replies to them still make sense. The text you wrote is removed and your name is not shown.
You have 30 days to change your mind
Requesting deletion does not remove anything straight away. Your account is marked for deletion and stays fully usable for 30 days — sign-in keeps working, deliberately, because signing in is how you cancel.
We chose a waiting period rather than deleting on the spot for two reasons. Deletion is reachable from a Settings screen on a phone, and one mistaken tap should not be able to destroy an account with no way back. And if someone else ever got into your account, an instant delete would let them erase it before you noticed; a 30-day window gives you time to sign in and stop it.
After 30 days the deletion runs and is permanent. There is no way to recover an account once that happens.
If you only want to stop receiving email from us, turn off marketing email in the app instead — that does not delete anything.
